2006 I DO FABRIZIO FANIELLO
This is Fabrizio Faniello's second attempt in representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest. In the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest held in Copenhagen, Denmark, he placed 9th with 48 points.
The song is composed and lyrics written by himself together with Aldo Spiteri.

2005 ANGEL CHIARA
The second attempt for Chiara at the Eurovision Song Contest marked the best result ever for a Maltese Eurovision contestant. She gained 192 points and ended 2nd right after Greek entry Helena Paparizou's "My Number One". Angel represented Malta in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest held on the 21 May 2005 in Kiev, Ukraine. This is the highest amount of votes achieved by a Maltese Eurovision entry so far!
Angel was composed and penned by Chiara herself.

2004 ON AGAIN...OFF AGAIN JULIE & LUDWIG
On Again...Off Again made it to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest after reaching 8th place at the qualifier round. In the Eurovision Song Contest finals held in Istanbul, Turkey they won 50 points and placed 12th.
This song was composed by Philip Vella and written by Gerard James BorgTODAY: Julie & Ludwig have released their first cd-album, Mood Swings. After their Eurovision experience, they represented Malta in other song festivals held in Romania and Turkey. In Megahit 2005 they reached 2nd place. Julie & Ludwig take part in musicals and are still very much in demand and popular with the Maltese public. Together with Natasha & Charlene and Fabrizio Faniello they are present on a weekly basis on the Saturday afternoon TV show Kollox Sibt on NET TV

2003 TO DREAM AGAIN LYNN CHIRCOP
In the Eurovision Song Contest held in Riga, Latvia, Malta managed to gain only 4 points and placed 23rd.
To Dream Again was composed by Alfred Zammit and penned by Cynthia Sammut.TODAY: Lynn Chricop is now married to Antoine Faure' and is known as Lynn Faure'. She has a child called Lizzie. Lynn has moved on with her career and is hosting her own TV shows on Channel 22. She still sings and plays the piano in Hotels teamed up with her husband and their band.

2002 7th WONDER IRA LOSCO
One of Malta's best results! Ira achieved a 2nd place with 164 points in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Tallin, Estonia.
7th Wonder was composed by Philip Vella whilst the lyrics were written by Gerard James Borg.TODAY: Ira Losco is establishing herself as one of the top female vocalists in Malta. She changed her music style completley and is singing her own brit-pop-rock stuff. She has made it to the charts in the German territory, where she was also touring with her first album "Someone else". Ira Losco was the only supporting act in Elton John's concert in Germany in Summer 2005. A few days before she was also the supporting act for Ronan Keating. So far she has refused to return to the Eurovision Stage, but lately, on Xarabank has admitted that if she had to return to Eurovision she would do so with a song written by herself.

He is still considered as one of the top local singers. He has made it to the charts in various countries. He is still very much in demand and is still trying his luck to represent Malta once again at the Eurovision Song Contest. Together with Natasha & Charlene and Julie & Ludwig he is present on a weekly basis on the Saturday afternoon TV show Kollox Sibt on NET TV. He has issued various albums and singles including his latest album, Believe.

2000 DESIRE CLAUDETTE PACE
Desire performed by Claudette Pace represented Malta in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Malta placed 8th with 73 points.
Desire was composed by Philip Vella and penned by Gerard James Borg.TODAY: Claudette Pace is still one of the top local personalities in Malta. Nowadays she's married to a tv producer and has a baby girl, Kristina. In 2003 she joined Malta Song board but left after a very short period. She has returned to the small screen hosting various TV shows including Sellili, Lejn il-Eurovision and the much awaited second series of L-Isfida. She is also taking part in a local soap opera as an actress.

Believe 'n Peace represented Malta in Jerusalem, Israel, and placed 15th with 32 points.
The song was composed by Chris Scicluna and penned by Moira Stafrace.TODAY: On their return to Malta from Jerusalem, Times Three were already thinking of taking solo careers. Leading singer Philipa is sometimes seen performing in unplugged sessions. Her cousin, Francesca pursued a career in musical-theatre, while Diane returned to her modelling career.

Chiara's first presence at the Eurovision Song Contest was in Birmingham, UK, where she placed 3rd with 166 points. Chiara went on to achieve a higher amount of points and a higher rank in her second attempt at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005.
The One That I Love was composed by Jason Paul Cassar and written by Sunny Aquilina.TODAY: Chiara is returning to Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with her own song, Angel. Since 1998 she has issued various cd albums including, What you want, Covering Diversions and . She has also hosted her own TV music-game show.

Miriam's song was composed by Paul Abela and written by Alfred C. Sant.TODAY: Miriam Christine has lately married Mark Warner, the producer working behind her new R'n'B image. She has shot various new video clips and is trying her best to break into the international R'n'B music scene. She is also a tv producer for local Education Channel 22. Miriam Christine returned to the Malta Song for Europe as the songwriter of Manuel Xuereb's entry I promise you.

He is now a member of Malta Song board and part of the Maltese Delegation for Eurovision Song Contest. He was also one of the persons in charge of Chiara's pre-Eurovision 2005 promotional tour and will also take care of Fabrizio Faniello in the pre-Eurovision 2006 tour.

William Mangion scored 69 points and placed 8th in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 held in Millstreet, Ireland.
This Time is composed and written by William Mangion.TODAY: William Mangion, tried his luck with his band both in Malta as well as the UK. He is also very active in piano bars and lives entirely on music. He has submitted an entry which reached the semi-finals round of the Malta Song for Europe 2006 edition.

Mary still records new songs and cover versions both as a soloist as well as a duet together with Renato. Mary Spiteri sings in leading Hotels on the island and takes part in concerts. He also host his own radio show, Jazzline. On the other hand, Georgina still tries her luck in Malta Song for Europe as a soloist and also writes songs for other singers including Triston B. She has also taken part as an actress in some local teleserials.

The Maltese song was composed by Sammy Galea and written by M. Iris MifsudTODAY: Renato is still very active in the music scene. He hosts his own radio show, Separju, with top local presenters Roderick Azzopardi and singer Ina Robinich. Renato is very popular for his jolly character, which is a main feature of all his cabaret shows in top local Hotels.

TODAY: Right after their Eurovision experience, Joe & Helen returned to their soloists career. Helen Micallef coaches new singers and takes part in various music events. Joe Cutajar is still very popular in the Hotels' scene, especially the so-called Piano Bars. Lately, on Xarabank, he declared that he wouldn't mind a comeback to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Held in Dublin, Ireland, Malta's debut in the Eurovision Song Contest resulted in Malta obtaining 52 points and placing 18th.
The First Maltese song in ESC was composed by Joe Grech and written by Charles Mifsud.
TODAY: Joe Grech is still active in the Maltese music scene. He is mostly popular for his concerts for Maltese living abroad.
